Using your NABET Local 53 Email with Entourage

PREFACE
The amazing thing about Entourage is that the manual account setup is so unbelievably simpler than the wizard, this method has been chosen exclusively for this tutorial

FOR IMAP ACCOUNTS
1.) Launch Entourage.  From the {Tools} menu, select {Accounts}

2.) From the {Accounts} page, select {Mail} then click on {New}

3.) Enter your email address, then click the {Configure account manually} button.  Email addresses and account login names are based upon This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  For example, mail for member Jane Smith will be This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Trouble logging in?  Account names have been created from the information NABET Local 53 has on file.  Let's say the name you go by is 'Larry Smith', but the information on file is Lawrence Smith.  In this example, your email address and username would be  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  The same would be true for spouses with hyphenated married names.  As an example, Mary Smith-Jones would have an email address and user name of  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

4.) From the dropdown box, select the Account type as IMAP, the Click {OK}

5.) Enter the server and account information as shown below substituting your own personal information for the example shown here.  Remember, your Account ID is the same as your email address.  When completed, click {OK} to continue.

6.) Completed account shown below.  Close the {Accounts} page.

7.) Once your account is setup, your Entourage screen should look similar to the one below.  Note the Nabet53 Inbox shows your complete IMAP tree of folders (Drafts, Sent, Spam, etc.)
